We're preparing the Nonaym DIY setup packages for testing and release.

DIY Compatibility Readiness Checklist

Before downloading or testing a Nonaym DIY package, use this static checklist to decide whether your target device is likely to be a good fit. This checklist does not submit information, create an account, or start an installation.

• Device type: a 64-bit x86_64 computer is the primary DIY target for common PC-style installs.
• Memory: 4 GB RAM minimum; 8 GB or more recommended.
• Storage: 32 GB minimum; 64 GB SSD or larger recommended.
• Network: wired Ethernet is strongly recommended for setup and reliable DNS service.
• Boot support: the device should support booting from a USB installer.
• Data safety: the target computer may be erased during installation. Back up anything important first.
• Beginner caution: do not test on your only computer unless you are comfortable reinstalling it.

Recommended Setup

To ensure optimal performance and compatibility, we recommend the following:

• 8 GB RAM minimum
• 64 GB SSD or larger
• Wired Ethernet connection
• Reliable power supply

Important: The full Nonaym DIY installer is not generally released yet. This page is currently for preparation, readiness guidance, and limited preflight test packages. Any temporary preflight package listed below is for controlled hardware/readiness testing only and does not install Nonaym or change DNS settings.

How to Prepare

We recommend that you:

1. Check your computer's specifications against our requirements
2. Ensure you have a USB drive ready for installation
3. Backup any important data from the target computer
4. Join our waitlist to receive updates

Once we've completed our testing, we'll send a notification to all members of our readiness list.
